You can google the artist she is on Wilipedia but briefly she attended the famous Glasgow School of Art and was widely exhibited including The Royal Academy of Arts. She is well known for her paintings of flowers. This lovely work is signed bottom left and there is a lable verso.
The picture and its frame are in good and clean condition.
