Red chinoiserie papier-mâché dish with silver and gilt decoration

A red papier-mâché scallop edged dish with chinoiserie decoration in gilt and silver. Very nice condition. We dated this as Victorian but may be of early 20th century manufacture. Has a hanging disc attached.
